The notes you take are the ones that flatter you

Nobody writes down the objection they fumbled. A transcript is the unflattering version: what the buyer asked, in their words, at the minute they asked it, and what you committed to before the call ended. Read it back the same day, put the next steps where the rest of the team can see them, and hand the awkward passages to whoever coaches the floor.

How it works

Three steps to your first transcript

  1. Drop in your file

Audio or video of any length; the free plan transcribes the first 30 minutes of each file. MP3, MP4, M4A, WAV, MOV and a dozen more.

  2. Pick the language

Leave the language on automatic or set it for better accuracy. Turn on speaker recognition if you need to know who said what.

  3. Read, edit, export

The transcript opens with clickable timestamps — read it and fix a name straight away. A free account keeps it and exports it as TXT; DOCX, PDF, SRT and VTT come with the unlimited plan.

FAQ

Questions before you upload

Transcribe a file

Can I use a call recorded in Zoom or Teams?

Yes. Download the recording and upload the file — there is a page for each platform explaining where the file waits and which version to take.

Will it separate me from the buyer?

Yes, when you take turns. Turn on speaker recognition, rename the two speakers once, and the names carry into every export.

Do I have to tell people I am recording?

Recording and consent rules differ by country and sometimes by state. Asking at the start of the call is the safest reading of them, and the answer ends up in the recording too.

Working in another language?

All of this works in 62 languages. These are the ones asked for most, each with its own page.
