Reels or normal posts?
Both, as long as the post is public. Story links expire on Instagram’s side and cannot be fetched afterwards.
Reels and video posts alike: paste the address and read the words instead of scrubbing the timeline.
Yes — paste an Instagram Reel or video post URL and WhoScribe fetches the audio and transcribes it. The text comes back with clickable timestamps and can be exported as TXT, SRT or VTT. Your first one needs no account, and every file shows its first 15 minutes free.

From the link to the text
Open the Reel or video and copy the link. The share link and the browser address both work.
Only the audio is fetched. Nothing is downloaded to your device.
Names and brand words are where any model guesses; fix them once in the browser and the export carries the correction.
Plain text to quote, or timed subtitles to reuse the clip elsewhere.
Instagram decides who can see a post, and that decision holds for us too. If a Reel needs a login, we cannot fetch it — we do not hold anyone’s session and would not use one. So a public post works, a private account does not, and a story that has expired is gone for everyone. If the video is yours and the account is private, the reliable route is to save the file and upload it directly.

Almost always because the account is private or the post was removed. Instagram also rate-limits fetching, so a link that fails once can work a few minutes later.
Not from the link. Save the video from the app and upload the file instead — that path has no access question at all.
Yes, when people take turns. Each line gets a label and you rename the speakers once.
Paste the address and we fetch the audio. The transcript is the same wherever it came from.
