Show notes are the reason most people come
An episode that exists only as audio is invisible: nobody can search it, quote it or skim it before deciding to listen. A transcript turns the same hour into something a reader can scan in two minutes and a search engine can read at all. Publishing even part of it — a summary with three timestamped quotes — does more for an episode than another social post.
Private or unlisted tracks?
A public track works. A private link with a secret token does not — if a visitor cannot open it without permission, neither can we.
Can it tell the host and the guest apart?
Yes, when they take turns. Each line is labelled and you rename the speakers once, which is usually all an interview needs.
What can I do with the text?
Copy it, export it as a document, or take timed subtitles if the episode also exists as video. Everything can be edited before you export.
