Built for Telugu recordings

The language selector is already set to Telugu, so the model knows what it is listening for instead of guessing from the first few seconds. That matters most on short files, on recordings that open with music or silence, and whenever a second language turns up mid-sentence.

Telugu is written in the Telugu script, and the transcript comes back in that script rather than romanised.

How it works

Three steps to your first transcript

  1. Drop in your file

Audio or video of any length; the free plan transcribes the first 30 minutes of each file. MP3, MP4, M4A, WAV, MOV and a dozen more.

  2. Pick the language

Leave the language on automatic or set it for better accuracy. Turn on speaker recognition if you need to know who said what.

  3. Read, edit, export

The transcript opens with clickable timestamps — read it and fix a name straight away. A free account keeps it and exports it as TXT; DOCX, PDF, SRT and VTT come with the unlimited plan.

FAQ

Questions before you upload

Transcribe a file

How accurate is Telugu transcription?

A clear Telugu recording comes out close to word-perfect. Accuracy drops with heavy background noise, strong regional accents and people talking over each other — the same things that make a recording hard for a person to follow.

Can it tell Telugu speakers apart?

Yes. Turn on speaker recognition and each line is tagged with its speaker, which is what makes Telugu interviews and meetings readable. You can rename the speakers in the editor afterwards.

Can I translate the Telugu transcript?

Yes. Transcribe in Telugu first, then translate the finished transcript without uploading the file again. Timestamps and speaker labels survive the translation.

Which script will the Telugu transcript be in?

It comes back in Telugu — the script Telugu is normally written in — not romanised. You can edit the text, search inside it and export it while keeping that script.
