Built for Belarusian recordings

The language selector is already set to Belarusian, so the model knows what it is listening for instead of guessing from the first few seconds. That matters most on short files, on recordings that open with music or silence, and whenever a second language turns up mid-sentence.

Belarusian is written in the Cyrillic script, and the transcript comes back in that script rather than romanised.

The Cyrillic script is also used by Bashkir, Bulgarian, Kazakh & Macedonian, which you can transcribe the same way.

How it works

Three steps to your first transcript

  1. Drop in your file

Audio or video of any length; the free plan transcribes the first 15 minutes of each file. MP3, MP4, M4A, WAV, MOV and a dozen more.

  2. Pick the language

Leave the language on automatic or set it for better accuracy. Turn on speaker recognition if you need to know who said what.

  3. Read, edit, export

The transcript opens with clickable timestamps — read it and fix a name straight away. A free account keeps it and exports it as TXT; DOCX, PDF, SRT and VTT come with the unlimited plan.

FAQ

Questions before you upload

Try it on this page

How accurate is Belarusian transcription?

A clear Belarusian recording comes out close to word-perfect. Accuracy drops with heavy background noise, strong regional accents and people talking over each other — the same things that make a recording hard for a person to follow.

Can it tell Belarusian speakers apart?

Yes. Turn on speaker recognition and each line is tagged with its speaker, which is what makes Belarusian interviews and meetings readable. You can rename the speakers in the editor afterwards.

Can I translate the Belarusian transcript?

Yes. Transcribe in Belarusian first, then translate the finished transcript without uploading the file again. Timestamps and speaker labels survive the translation.

Which script will the Belarusian transcript be in?

It comes back in Cyrillic — the script Belarusian is normally written in — not romanised. You can edit the text, search inside it and export it while keeping that script.

Can I transcribe Bashkir, Bulgarian, Kazakh, Macedonian as well?

Yes. Bashkir, Bulgarian, Kazakh, Macedonian use the same Cyrillic script and work exactly the same way — upload the file and pick the language.
