Subtitles timed to your Danish audio

Every line is anchored to the moment it is spoken, so the file you download is already in sync. Fix a name or a piece of jargon in the browser first and the correction carries into both SRT and VTT.

Danish is written in the Latin script, and the transcript comes back in that script rather than romanised.

How it works

Three steps to your first transcript

  1. Drop in your file

Audio or video of any length; the free plan transcribes the first 30 minutes of each file. MP3, MP4, M4A, WAV, MOV and a dozen more.

  2. Pick the language

Leave the language on automatic or set it for better accuracy. Turn on speaker recognition if you need to know who said what.

  3. Read, edit, export

The transcript opens with clickable timestamps — read it and fix a name straight away. A free account keeps it and exports it as TXT; DOCX, PDF, SRT and VTT come with the unlimited plan.

FAQ

Questions before you upload

Transcribe a file

Which subtitle formats do I get?

SRT and VTT, both timed and ready to use. On the free plan you read and correct them in the browser and download the text as TXT; the subtitle files themselves come with the unlimited plan.

Can I edit the Danish subtitles before exporting?

Yes. The transcript opens in an editor with clickable timestamps. Correct names, spelling or jargon, then export — the timings stay where they were.

Do the subtitles work for video as well as audio?

Yes. Upload MP4, MOV, WEBM, WMV or MPEG directly; the audio is extracted for you. There is no need to convert the video first.

Which script will the Danish transcript be in?

It comes back in Latin — the script Danish is normally written in — not romanised. You can edit the text, search inside it and export it while keeping that script.
