Without an account
You can transcribe without signing up at all. Drop a file on the page and the transcript appears — three per day, counted per device rather than per cookie, so clearing your browser does not reset it.
This exists so you can judge the output before deciding anything. What you transcribe as a guest is kept for a week.
The free plan
Signing up gives you a workspace: files in folders, search across everything, a history that does not vanish.

Every quality level is included, speaker labels are included, and every export format is included. The free plan is limited by volume, not by features.

About the length limit
The limit is on how much gets transcribed, not on what you can upload. Send a 90-minute recording on the free plan and it is accepted: the first 30 minutes are transcribed and you are told the rest was skipped. Nothing fails silently, and nothing is rejected at the door.
Which one you need
Stay on free if you transcribe occasionally and your recordings are short — a weekly standup, the odd voice memo, a lecture in parts.
Move to Unlimited when you hit one of three walls: long recordings (interviews, depositions, full-day workshops), many files at once, or a daily volume that makes counting to three tiring.
